The Fleet Boat Club is Rochester’s first and largest boat share club with 5 locations in the Finger Lakes region. We opened in 2006 and now have locations on Irondequoit Bay, Canandaigua Lake, Sodus Bay, Seneca Lake, and the Erie Canal.
It is a great way to enjoy boating without the hassle of owning one. We offer a variety of affordable yearly memberships to fit everyone's needs. Best of all you can boat at any of our five locations and 33 boats. Our memberships plans are based on the number of future reservations you can have in the system at one time. Once you use or cancel a reservation, you can make another to replace it. There is no limit on the number of times you can use the boats in a season. Simply make a reservation via our website. Show up with your belongings. Enjoy your time on the water. No fueling, cleaning, maintenance, just fun! See our website for more information on membership and pricing.
- Irondequoit Bay where we have 10 open bow boats and 2 pontoons available at the docks of Southpoint Marina located at the south end of the bay. This has been our home since we started in 2006. It’s a first-class marina that’s easy to get to. Come cruise around in the bay or explore the shoreline of Lake Ontario while enjoying the outdoors.
- Canandaigua Lake has 4 open bow boats and 4 pontoons located at Sutter's Canandaigua Marina on City Pier, in the heart of the Canandaigua waterfront. We opened our Canandaigua Lake location in 2009 and received a great response. They offer great facilities and quick access to open water, with the city of Canandaigua just down the street. You can anchor off the shore of Kershaw Park enjoying the shallow waters and sandy bottom. Or take a ride down to the South end of the lake while exploring the houses on the lake for some food and drink at The Sawmill.
- Seneca Lake has 3 open bow boats and 2 pontoons conveniently located at the docks in Seneca Lake State Park since 2021 in Geneva. Visit Waterloo or Seneca Falls via the Seneca-Cayuga Canal. Upon your return, let the kids play in the spray park or grab a bite to eat at one of Geneva's superb restaurants. Enjoy the Lake with a length of 38 miles, there are numerous wineries and craft breweries to explore while on the water.
- Sodus Bay where we have 3 open bow boats and 1 pontoon located at Krenzer Marine in Sodus Point since 2019. This jewel just 30 minutes from Webster boasts islands and coves, a multitude of restaurants, and Chimney Bluffs State Park. Krenzer Marine offers great facilities right in the heart of Sodus Point.
- Erie Canal has 2 pontoons located at the docks in downtown Fairport. We moved to the Canal in Fairport for 2017 and our members loved it. The Villages of Fairport and Pittsford, and the hamlet of Bushnell's Basin offer docking with numerous restaurants. Macedon Canal Park has picnic tables and comfort facilities.
- Open Bow boats, we have a variety of 23 open bow boats across our feet ranging in size for 21 – 23 feet in length and up to 13 passengers.
- Pontoon boats, there are 10 pontoon and/or tritoon boats across our 5 locations ranging in size from 21-25 feet in length and up to 14 passengers.
- All boats come with adult life jackets, all required safety equipment, skis, tubes, tow lines, extra dock bumpers and dock lines. Whether you are enjoying water sports or docking at your favorite location we have everything you need.
