September 2026 Business of the Month

CA Consulting

Cheryl Adas formed her DBA in 1991 when she started consulting for various organizations in customer service.  Her family had recently relocated from Chicago to her hometown of Webster. Consulting became a part-time gig when she became the General Manager of the Courtyard in Brighton in 1994 and then began her career at Xerox in 1997.  After letting her DBA lie dormant for 26 years, Cheryl left Xerox to put her consulting career into action in leadership facilitation and training, team effectiveness, and Lean Six Sigma continuous improvement processes.  She knew there were opportunities using all the skills and experience she’d acquired over the years.

Her vision for her company became “Unleashing the Power of People with Momentum,” building confidence4 and helping people realize their untapped, unlimited potential.  Cheryl works with start-up organizations and those over 100 years old to help them build leaders at all levels and build critical thinkers in continuous process improvement.

Cheryl’s programs are working in partnership with MCC Economic and workforce Development and the Greater Rochester Quality Council.  She has an in-person leadership experience – Developing the Conscious Leader and Conscious Culture – that meets over a nine-week timeframe, another – Evolving Conscious Teams – which meets over a five-week period and has various Customer Service and Communications workshops.

Cheryl loves making a difference in people’s lives; helping them to see the best in themselves and achieve their potential.  Her business is primarily marketed via word of mouth and the support of the MCC Economic and Workforce Development partnership.  Cheryl has helped participants realize they were leaders leave her program with their heads held high and more confidence and pep in their step. She’s helped people with challenging personal lives thinking they couldn’t spend the time in the program who found it to be lifechanging in a positive way.  Many former participants have asked Cheryl to speak at their team meetings and continue to send their people to Cheryl’s programs to build the culture in their organizations.

n addition to being an active Webster Chamber member, Cheryl also participates in the Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce, Roc Dog Therapy with her five-year-old Golden Retriever Finn, Wellness on Wednesdays Senior Group. She was the former Board Trustee and Co-Chair at Sonnenberg Gardens and a former vice president and board member of the Port Bay Improvement Association.
