Palmer Photography
Palmer Photography provides professional photography services for a variety of clients in the Greater Rochester area. At its onset, Jay set a goal to deliver a pleasant portrait experience that would exceed his client’s expectations for quality, service, and value. As a result, Jay Palmer’s clients entrust him to capture significant and meaningful moments in their lives. Palmer Photography recently celebrated 15 years in business in Webster! Jay’s personal mission is to capture the essence of each client and to provide archival quality images that serve as historical preservations of the people in our community. This has always been his first love-capturing people in their best light. Close communication includes preparation advice and attention to details. Jay’s calm and observant manner has been an essential element for success in the fast paced wedding photography business. Jay has photographed over 350 weddings!
Jay also has experience photographing products and portraits for commercial, corporate, and promotional use. Recent clients include: CDS Monarch, ThermoFisher Scientific, Xerox, University of Rochester, Time Warner Cable News, and many more.
Jay has been a member of the Webster Chamber of Commerce since 2009 and is a friendly face at many of our breakfasts and networking events. He even documented the Chamber’s 80th Anniversary Gala taking lovely pictures of attendees.
Over the years, Jay has supported local charities and events by donating his professional photography services including the American Diabetes Foundation’s annual Tour d Cure ride and the Greater Rochester Area Churches Faith in Action events. Jay supports community members’ work to end cancer. He has answered the call to photograph area events sponsored by the American Cancer Society, Breast Cancer Coalition, and CURE Childhood Cancer.
Members of our community know they can call on Jay to utilize his professional photography skills to assist their organization. He continues his ties with Boy Scouts of America, Troop 262. He supports the Webster Comfort Care Home, in their endeavor to raise funds to provide hospice care to those in our community. Jay is also committed to working for and building strong relationships with our public institutions and non-profit organizations including Webster Central Schools, and Webster’s North East Joint Fire District.
Jay is currently an active member of Webster Baptist Church and has held leadership positions of Moderator and currently is the Chairperson of Building and Property - ensuring that our historical cobblestone church stays in good order- not an easy task for a building that is nearing 160 years! The church offers many community service opportunities in support of local, national, and global ministries.
