Penny Swingly
Penny is co-owner of Mane Reflections Salon located at 31 West Main Street; which is a full-service hair salon. Penny has co-owned the salon with Pat Sidoti since 2003 but originally started her salon in 1992 at 5 West Main St with a salon named Cut, Color and Tan. Penny’s first salon was open 7 days a week with 9 tanning beds, 4 styling stations and a mailroom. Her husband Gus threatened to padlock the place because she was never home so Penny, Pat and Frank headed up to Mane Reflections and rented chairs and then Pat and Penny went into a partnership.
Penny has been involved with Relay for life, Webster BID and the chamber for many years. She has supported Recovery Fitness, Webster Rotary, local Boy Scouts, Making Strides and many other local establishments needing help.
She enjoys spending time at her cottage, scrapbooking, card making, yard sales and since she and Gus own a ‘31 Ford Model A they attend many car shows.
Penny is also known for working the streets at the 4 corners of Webster Village to raise money for the Relay for life!
Congratulations to Penny Swingly of Mane Reflections as the Webster Chamber of Commerce’s March Business of the Month!
