Webster Community Chest

Neighbors Helping Neighbors!  The Webster Community Chest is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization that has been providing services and programs for Webster (14580) residents since 1948.  The Chest provides information & referrals, emergency food assistance, emergency financial assistance, summer camp scholarships, high school senior awards for community service, and financial aid to organizations whose programs benefit Webster residents.

2022 Greater Rochester Peep Show   

    The Webster Community Chest is conducting our favorite fund-raising event--the Seventh Annual Greater Rochester Marshmallow PEEP Art Show (a.k.a., "The PEEP Show") on April 2nd & 3rd, 2022 at the Webster Community Recreation Center, 1350 Chiyoda Drive, Webster.   Local businesses can take advantage of the marketing opportunities that this show presents.  We anticipate that 3,000 visitors will see over 120 art works and dioramas made with Marshmallow PEEPS® candies or based on the PEEPS® candy theme.

     Admission to the show is free thanks to our business sponsors and it is a very attractive family event.  The show raises money entirely through voluntary donations and all proceeds go to participating local non-profit agencies, along with the Webster Community Chest.  See the agencies that are helped on our website.

     Local businesses can participate by putting up a poster in your location, and by making a promotional display with your business name and logo to be seen by 3,000 local people--FREE to enter.  Modest cash donations to the Chest will get significant show-related marketing perks.  We also have many interesting volunteer opportunities right now and during the show.  Visit our website, rochesterpeepshow.org, for more information.  Write to peepshow@frontier.com if you would like to discuss participating.

     As you likely know, the PEEP Show had to be conducted on-line only in 2020 and 2021, so there was no promotion last year.  Thank you again to the businesses and organizations that financed this extraordinarily enjoyable event in 2019 and 2020 by sponsoring rooms, tables, and awards, including Chamber members Maplewood Nursing Home, Rich Marlin Financial Advisor Edward Jones, Heritage Christian Services, Soho Imaging, Hegedorns Market, Gerard Smith Agency, Pet$aver, Bene-Care, Gail M Boorum / Mary Kay, and Dominos Pizza; and to all the businesses that donated prizes.  All these companies are still featured on our website, which has had over 22,000 visitors in the past year.  See the 2020 exhibits and the sponsor recognition at http://www.rochesterpeepshow.com/room-1.html
