Rose Gabrielle-Angell
This month’s business of the month is Rose Gabrielle-Angell, Licensed Associate Real Estate Broker from RE/MAX Plus. She started her real estate career in Fairport at a small independently owned office. Their focus and sales training was targeted at buyers looking for new construction rather than existing homes. Her initial interests in real estate were land development, new construction, and property management. Back in 2003, when investigating a new investment project, a local real estate broker encouraged me to get my license and sell real estate. I quickly learned I had found my passion. I loved not only meeting and working with new people, but I was drawn in by the intricacy & diversity of the real estate business—no two transactions are ever the same & I learn something new each & every time. Rose moved to RE/MAX Plus in October 2004.
Main areas of expertise are single family residential sales, new construction, investment properties, and luxury waterfront properties. Past sales include areas in Rochester and suburban areas in Monroe, Wayne, and Ontario Counties.
It gives me a great deal of personal satisfaction to be an integral part of my clients’ purchase or sale of their home as, for many, this is their greatest single financial investment. These moves are generally tied to some life event…first home, new baby, newly married, upsizing, downsizing, and many other life-stage transitions. Because of the impact & importance of these moves, I do not take my job responsibilities lightly. I do not see myself as a salesperson, but as a facilitator, problem solver, and trusted advisor.
I am an avid supporter of the Habitat for Humanity, which is a non-profit Christian organization that partners with homeowners to help provide affordable housing for low-income families. As a token of my appreciation and support, I have made donations on behalf of my clients and have gifted them with the Sawyer keepsake teddy bear at closing. RE/MAX Plus is proud to support our local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital, the Golisano Children’s Hospital at Strong. In addition to donating a portion of each commission check, I have contributed by donating & volunteering at our Annual RE/MAX Plus charity golf tournament, resulting in approximately $250,000 benefiting the Golisano Children’s Hospital. These funds have helped build two rooms where families can stay on-site in comfort while their child receives treatment at the hospital. We are on our way to a third room and will keep going.
Each year, I host several Client Appreciation Events in order to stay connected and maintain ongoing relationships with my good clients & business partners. The theme of this year’s event on November 15th will be “Thanks for Giving”. As we all reflect on what we are thankful for this time of year—new business opportunities, referrals, health, family & friends—I believe it is important we consider those with special needs right here in our own community. I ask each guest to bring a non-perishable food item to the event for my donation box to the HOPE Ministry. HOPE Ministry serves primarily Webster families and offers food pantry services, clothing closet, household goods, furniture, free counseling and emergency financial assistance to prevent homelessness.
In 2017, I attended the RE/MAX International Convention in Las Vegas and was proudly awarded the RE/MAX Hall of Fame Award—a career milestone based on sales volume. The award plaque was handed to me directly from the founder of RE/MAX himself, David Liniger—truly an honor and an exciting moment in my career!
Congratulations to Rose Gabrielle-Angell of RE/MAX Plus on being November 2018’s Business of the Month
