November 2025 Business of the Month

Julianna Salon

The Webster Chamber of Commerce is pleased to recognize Julianna Salon as our November 2025 Business of the Month!

Maria Criscitello and Julianna Tallo started the family-owned Julianna Salon in 2014 in Rochester’s South Wedge neighborhood.  The sisters-in-law have a shared passion for family, community, and working together, so the salon quickly became known for its welcoming atmosphere and dedication to exceptional service.  Over the years, that passion fueled their growth into a multi-location salon, proudly serving clients in both Webster and Rochester, New York.

Julianna Salon is full-service hair and beauty salon dedicated to providing an inclusive, friendly, and relaxing environment.  They specialize in professional hair services, which include cutting, coloring, blonding, and highlighting, complimented by natural gel nail services and spa treatments such as waxing, lashes, and brows.

The mission statement at Julianna Salon is to combine artistry, innovation, and personalized care to deliver exceptional beauty experiences.  Maria, Julianna, and their staff of 13 are committed to helping every client feel confident, radiant, and valued by providing expert hairstyling, modern techniques, and a welcoming atmosphere.  They proudly serve their community by celebrating individuality, fostering lasting relationships, and ensuring every visit leaves their guests looking and feeling their very best.

Maria and Julianna love making people feel beautiful and confident, and building long-term relationships with their clients. They are passionate about mentoring new stylists, offering them education and helping them grow into thriving professionals.  One of their favorite parts of their journey has been watching their stylists grow into leaders.  Mentorship is at the heart of their artistry, and they believe without that connection, they would have nothing.

Julianna Salon participates in local community events and collaborations, including pop-up events with local vendors, donation drives and fundraisers.  At the end of last year, they hosted a Daddy-Daughter Hair Workshop, teaching Dads how to style their daughters hair and creating special bonding moments.  The proceeds from this event were donated to Empowering People’s Independence (EPI).  The salon organizes seasonal food drives and donates canned goods to local food pantries and host annual gift and food fundraisers to support families in the WIC.  They also coordinate with WOMOCO and BOCES in both Ontario and Monroe counties to offer free internships for students seeking industry shadows.  Their team also hosts no-cost educational events in their training facility and actively contributes to community networking opportunities, strengthening the connections that make our community thrive.

Please join me in congratulating Julianna Salon as the Webster Chamber of Commerce’s November 2025 Business of the Month!
