Town & Country Enterprises
Town & Country Enterprises, Inc. began in March of 1976 as a summer job with two 21” lawn boy mowers between college semesters and over the past 44 years has evolved into a family-owned business with 20 employees.
Town & Country’s mission statement states: “We endeavor to enhance the lives of our customers, employees, and the community. We plan, create, and maintain our clients’ landscapes, providing reliable lawn, landscape, and snow and ice control services with predictable outcomes.
Dave says the best this about his job is the variety of activities from day-to-day, which include selling, designing, teaching, coaching, planning, and all the things that go into running a business.
Dave is a long-time active member of St. Rita’s Church; has fried fish for St. Rita’s School Lenten fish fry for the past 20 years. He is a member of Trinity Council 4618 of the Knights of Columbus and has been president of the Webster Columbus Center for the last nine years. Dave is also the past treasurer of the Pen-Web Rotary.
When asked about any humorous stories or important experiences related to his business, Dave says, “Weeds are job security in our line of work. In winter, we get paid to move snow from one spot to another so it can melt. Bee stings and poison ivy are the two most common on-the-job injuries among our work force. Seriously though, we save our clients time and simplify their lives.”
Please join us in congratulating Dave and Town & Country Enterprises, Inc. as the Chamber’s May 2021 Business of the Month!
