Penfield Ambulance is pleased to announce our expanded role as the primary contracted emergency service agency for the Town of Webster, effective April 2024. Since 1966, we have been dedicated to ensuring the safety and well-being of our communities through compassionate and professional care.
Last year, Penfield Ambulance received over 7,000 911 calls, and we anticipate this number to exceed 10,000 in 2024. Our highly skilled team of over 100 volunteers and employees operates around the clock, 365 days a year, utilizing a fleet of 8 ambulances stationed strategically at our headquarters on 1585 Jackson Road in Penfield, as well as at West Webster Fire Station on Gravel Road and North East Joint Fire District on Phillips Road in Webster.
In addition to emergency response services, Penfield Ambulance is deeply involved in community health initiatives. We offer a range of training programs including First Aid, CPR, and Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) certification, alongside sponsoring Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) training courses. Our commitment extends to hosting community blood pressure clinics, blood drives, providing first aid at local events, and maintaining a loan cupboard for mobility aids such as walkers, canes, and crutches.
Residents of both Webster and Penfield are invited to participate in our regularly scheduled CPR classes free of charge, with an option for discounted certification cards where applicable. For those interested in group or private training sessions, or seeking guidance on AED installations for businesses, please contact Dustin Mandell at 585-872-6060. Community members are always welcome to visit our base for immediate first aid assistance or blood pressure screenings. In case of medical emergencies, please remember to dial 911 promptly.
